Maintenance

Q: How do I maintain my Doubtless Summit Pro rooftop tent? 


A: Proper maintenance is key to keeping your Doubtless Summit Pro in top condition. Here are a few simple tips to ensure longevity and optimal performance:

  1. Remove bedding and mattress when not in use
    Always remove the mattress, sheets, pillows, and any other bedding when storing your rooftop tent. This prevents moisture buildup and keeps everything fresh.
  2. Air it out every two weeks
    Even if you're not using the tent regularly, open it up and air it out at least once every two weeks. This reduces the chance of mildew, mold, and stale odors.
  3. Watch for moisture in cold weather
    Cold conditions can increase condensation inside the tent. Use moisture absorbers like silica gel or desiccant packs, and keep the tent ventilated even when closed.
  4. Ventilate while camping
    While you're using your Summit Pro, leave a window slightly open to encourage airflow. This helps manage internal moisture and keeps the space comfortable.

Regular care will help extend the life of your tent and ensure every trip is a great one.


Warranty

Q: What does the Doubtless Summit Pro warranty cover?
A: The Doubtless Summit Pro is covered by a limited warranty that includes:

  • Defects in design or manufacturing that cause the tent to fail to perform as advertised
  • Repair or replacement (at our discretion) for issues caused by design or manufacturing faults

This warranty applies only to original purchasers and does not cover damage due to misuse or modification.


Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from improper use, installation, or unauthorized modification
  • Costs for removal, reinstallation, or travel to remote locations
  • Damage in transit or additional transport costs
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Mold, mildew, insect or animal damage
  • Weather-related damage (wind, storms, excessive sun, etc.)
  • Broken poles or damaged zippers from force or improper use
  • Punctures, tears, or canvas/screen damage caused by accidents
  • UV damage to fabric or paint
  • Shipping costs for returns or replacements

 

Delivery

When you order a Doubtless Summit Pro rooftop tent, you can count on a smooth and reliable delivery process. We’ll work closely with you to ensure your tent is delivered safely and conveniently.

We can deliver rooftop tents to residential addresses. Please ensure that the delivery location is accessible for a large truck and that someone is available to receive the shipment.

Alternatively, if it's more convenient, we can arrange delivery to your nearest freight depot for pickup.

Have a business address with forklift access?
If you have a commercial address with a forklift on site, let us know we can arrange direct delivery to your business location.

Our priority is making sure your Doubtless Summit Pro arrives in excellent condition, with minimal fuss.

 

Refund Policy

At Doubtless, we stand behind the quality of our products and want you to feel confident with your purchase.

Please note:

  • Refunds do not cover shipping costs
  • Refunds are not available for change of mind purchases or undamaged items
  • Claims must be made within 30 days of receiving your order
